Lacy is the owner, and the heart and soul within UP Family Doula Care, based in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula (USA), where the endless lakes, dense forests, and snowy trails provide both inspiration and peace. Her surroundings mirror the strength and resilience of the families she supports, reminding her daily of the incredible journeys parents embark on.Her passion for birth work began in high school when she supported a friend through childbirth—an experience that ignited her lifelong dedication to empowering families. Looking back, she realizes she has always been drawn to this work, from educating others about child development as a teen to becoming a certified professional. Today, she is honored to walk alongside families, offering encouragement, education, and compassionate care. In every role she takes on—Mom, Wife, and Doula—Lacy finds purpose in nurturing connections and supporting growth. Homeschooling her three energetic children while advancing her professional journey reflects her belief in lifelong learning. Inspired by the BirthWorks Philosophy, she achieved dual certifications as a Childbirth Educator and Birth Doula. Now, as Ambassador Program Director for BirthWorks International, Lacy proudly contributes to improving childbirth education and compassionate support on a global scale
