I had the privilege of taking these photographs during amazing and powerful births that I supported. I learn something new with each of these births and any new births I attend. Just by observing, I see a lot of mothers with their eyes closed. I sense a strong connection between the mothers and their bodies, their babies, and their partners. I also feel very connected to the mothers and the process of birth. Looking at these pictures, I feel deep gratitude for mothers. I am always amazed at how unique and different one birth can be from the next. Each one starts and ends differently. The emotions of each mother and partner, the baby's position, and the support are even different. I am very grateful to be a part of this work!
