Online Birth Doula Workshop – July 2025

24-25 & 27-28 July | Thursday-Monday (No meeting Saturday 26 July) | 9:30am-3:30pm EDT | Holistic & Evidence-Based

Are you inspired to give the best support to help families have the most positive birth experiences? In this comprehensive, high-quality training, you learn to guide mothers to confidence and decrease fear in birth. As a birth doula, your continuous presence during labor creates safety, allowing labor to progress, and shorter labor means fewer interventions. Know how to apply best-practices and our human-values approach for mind-body-spirit integration to ensure optimal health and wellness at childbirth. This is one major requirement for BirthWorks International Certified Birth Doula~CBD(BWI) professional credentials. Read more, on specific requirements, then pay the certification fee separately (whenever it is best for you)—to connect to your Personal Mentor and begin at-home study and work in your community. This workshop is also open to anyone wanting to learn. If you attend all hours, you receive BWI-Inspired status (social media badge and professional directory listing) and a Certificate of Attendance (for CEUs/CECs). This is a 4-day workshop, 24-25 & 27-28 July (no meeting Saturday 26 July) –  9:30am-3:30pm first 3 days and 9am-12 pm on Monday 28 July. There will be a 30-minute break (~11:30am-12pm). Scheduled times are in EDT (Eastern Daylight Time). Use World Time Buddy to easily find your timezone schedule. This unique, experiential training is offered interactively, online via Zoom.
