Maria Silver Pyanov is a certified BirthWorks Certified Childbirth Educator~CCE(BWI) and a seasoned mom to six earthside children, including two preemies. What she loves most about BirthWorks International programs is the focus on evidenced-based information while still highlighting the emotional and spiritual aspect of pregnancy, parenting, and childbirth. Maria is also a parent educator, sharing much of her information via evidenced-based writing and teaching through a maternal wellness center. Since 2007, she has supported families as a childbirth educator, postpartum doula and doula mentor, worked in pregnancy centers, and provided postpartum care to many families. She is also certified by DONA, CAPPA, as a NMAC Peer Breastfeeding Counselor, and did curriculum development for The International Doula Institute.
