What is a Postpartum Doula?

Postpartum doulas facilitate an easeful transition from birth into parenting a newborn. New parents put most energy into giving birth and often find they’re unprepared for going home – the fourth trimester! Most complications happen after birth in this postpartum period. You can bring ease by enhancing the mother-baby connection through positive tools to create a safe, loving environment. BirthWorks Postpartum Doulas bring both a human-values approach and academic best practices, so the entire family can relax and find joy in the first precious weeks with their baby.

Be empowered to offer fantastic postpartum support at birth!

This experiential workshop is a fun, empowering way to discover ways to be most effective in supporting new mothers, babies and families! Be able to recognize key medical and emotional symptoms an know how to best support mothers, as they recover from pregnancy and birth. Our hand-picked BirthWorks Trainers inspire you in an interactive and engaging way – so you can bring both holistic and evidence-based support to postpartum families. The workshop also helps attract clients to build your business and opens an opportunity for personal growth. It is offered either – Virtually over four days or In-Person for three full days. Aspiring or current birth and medical professionals, birth partners and mothers too are welcome.
