Online Postpartum Workshop – January 2026

You can help make the transition from birth to parenting smooth and enjoyable. Birthing parents place most of their energy on giving birth and often find themselves unprepared for going home – the fourth trimester or postpartum period. Most complications happen after birth, in the postpartum period. In this experiential workshop, learn how to recognize key medical and emotional symptoms and to best support mothers, as they recover from pregnancy and birth. Also, find ways to best support the mother-baby connection through positive energy to create a safe, loving, and trusting environment for the entire family. The unique BirthWorks Experience empowers you to be a fantastic doula!

The first 10 people to register before 13 December 2025 get the early discount. This is a 4 day workshop 10-11 & 24-25 January 2026.  The schedule is 9am-2:30pm each day.  There will be a 30 minute break daily from 11:30am-12pm.

If you decide to certify with us, this is one major requirement to earn the BirthWorks International Certified Postpartum Doula~CPD(BWI) professional credential. Read more specific requirements, then pay the certification fee separately (whenever is best for you)—to connect to your Mentor and begin at-home study and work in your community.

Use World Time Buddy to easily find your timezone schedule. This experiential training is offered interactively online via Zoom. We do NOT record trainings. By attending all hours, you earn BWI-Inspired status (including a social media badge and professional directory listing) and a Certificate of Attendance (for 20 continuing education hours).
