Joining the BWI Ambassador Program is a wonderful way to build your reputation and credibility. Get empowering training and tools that help grow your birth business.Â
If you are certified by BirthWorks and aspire to bring the BWI Philosophy, evidence-based support, and a human-values approach to your community—this is your next logical step!
If you are an aspiring professional in BWI certification now, you can also be an Ambassador—get ten people for a local workshop—and come for free! Sharing what you know increases your confidence and readiness to teach or be a doula.
This innovative program provides you with guidance, materials, and coaching on skills, knowledge, practice, and feedback to offer two programs where you live:
- Intro. to BirthWorks Talk – a short lecture/mini-workshop that allows you to share the BWI Philosophy with parents and/or professionals in your community at libraries, wellness centers, medical offices, hospitals, and more.
- Birthing in the Spirit! Circles inspire discussions about the BWI Philosophy, based on the Birthing in the Spirit book. Our “book club” guidelines teach you to connect with parents and community birth workers.

Host (or promote) BWI Workshops and receive discounted or free tuition:
- Set up a location and dates, and we will provide you with materials and ideas for local marketing along with a workshop flyer.
- Your discount increases as more people register!
- For every person registered, get 10% off your workshop tuition. For example, five is 50% off… up to ten 100% off (come FREE)!
- If five to ten people register, get 50% off your certification fee too.
- If ten or more people, BWI will also offer you the opportunity to make money (10% profit) on future workshops you help set up.
After you have participated in one BirthWorks workshop, help set up others:
- Earn 10% of the profit if ten people register for in-person workshops
- Earn 10% of the profit if ten people register for virtual workshops
- Earn 10% of the profit if you help get ten parents signed up for our virtual BirthPrep! for Parents childbirth education workshops
- If you run eight successful workshops (with 10 people each) – earn a BWI Lifetime Membership!
- Get ongoing support, including comprehensive ways to grow your birth business

- Passion and background in birth/families, education, and/or marketing/social media/public relations
- Believe in the practice of human values for confident birthing and parenting

Be a BWI Childbirth Educator CCE(BWI), Birth Doula CBD(BWI) or Postpartum Doula CPD(BWI) and in good standing as an ongoing BWI member (with active recertification status);
OR - Be actively working now towards one of the above BWI Certifications or ACED Certification
