Janell Bartzatt

Janell Bartzatt
Board Member at Large

Janell Bartzatt is a BirthWorks Childbirth Educator, a birth and bereavement doula, a birth assistant at a birth center and a licensed phlebotomist. She started in the birth field as a doula and felt the urge to add skills to her toolkit, so got certified to facilitate BirthWorks childbirth preparation classes. The Birth Works Philosophies resonated with her and are at the core of her up-to-date, interactive classes. Having the opportunity to work alongside experienced midwives and hear parent-reported positive birth experiences also enhances her classes. After birthing three boys (two in a hospital and one at a freestanding birth center), it is at Janell's truth and core that birth is a beautiful, joyful and loving experience.
