If are in the USA, and over the age of 70½, you can donate up to $100,000US from your IRA to a qualified charity each year without paying income tax on the distribution. You deduct your charitable contributions from your taxable income. Your gift has a double impact: it supports our important work AND helps you save money on taxes.
