Step 23: Providing Postpartum Support

In this last step for your certification, you have the opportunity as a postpartum doula, to actually provide support to new mothers and their families.  For your certification you are required to provide a minimum of eight hours  of postpartum support for two families with infants less than twelve weeks old. This can be completed in more than one visit.

Have the families complete the postpartum support evaluation form, scan, and submit here. The support must take place after enrollment in the BirthWorks certification program.  You may or may not request fees for your services.
